Photo by Clem Onojeghuo I do not live in fear despite the fact that I cannot account for everything that happens in the physical. It is true that most problems occur in the spiritual first, but there is so much in this physical that will just happen such as things will just break. They just will. I randomly felt like going to the beach yesterday. After I did everything I had to do, my family and I got in our car to go. It's a bit of a drive, but not too bad. However, there is tons of construction all of the time. We drove through a construction area and immediately after heard the undeniable sound of a flat tire. We pulled over and the tire had blown out. We could not drive any farther if we wanted to and we were lucky to have have it happened right near a parking lot that we could pull into. It could have happened on the highway. That would have been really bad. Instead it happened while we weren't driving that fast. I wasn't stressed. I didn't even care. I asked my intuition if this would take forever to deal with and I immediately heard that this would be quick and that we would still get to do some fun things. This car is new so it's on warranty and has roadside assistance. We called. I told my husband what I had heard intuitively. Meanwhile, on the phone the lady was taking forever to get all of the information and said it would take an hour for someone to get there. Oh as an aside, we learned the hard way that they don't give you a spare tire on a new car anymore. That's why we needed roadside assistance. We had to get our car towed to a tire shop to get a new tire. When my husband hung up he said, "Fifty minutes isn't quick." I decided to go for a little walk with my son while we waited. We were barely out when my husband texted me, "He says he is 7 minutes away." Prior to that I also had already called the tire shop to make sure they could take us in and that things would run smoothly. We gave him all the information he needed while on the phone, so that when we arrived they could get right to work. When the tow truck arrived I said, "Thank you for coming so quickly. I really appreciate it." He said, "No problem. It just worked out that way. I had just finished cleaning up an accident." I asked, "Was it bad?" He responded, "No one was injured. It was just someone not paying attention to the road. He drove off the road and hit a pole." The tire shop was just a three minute drive. We were there fast, but we couldn't have driven there ourselves due to the tire being completely gone. When we arrived the tire guy said, "I had put you in for an hour from now, but since you got here early and I know you have somewhere to be, I will put that your appointment was for 4 pm that way they will get you in right away." It all went so smoothly. There was no hiccup at all. Neither of us felt stressed. My husband walked my son to the gas station to buy him a snack while we waited for our car. There was no tension. It was all fine. That is what happens when you have a regulated nervous system and you know you're supported by God. Every single person we had to talk to throughout the process was friendly and helpful. As soon as our car was fixed we got in our car and headed to our destination. We were almost there when it happened. We were able to walk around like we had intended and ate dinner there. At no point did I feel, "Oh I shouldn't have randomly come here today." I didn't regret my decision. I didn't feel like anything bad had happened. This is just life when you live in this material world. Life doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be that you will never experience any inconvenience. It's more that the things that used to bother you don't bother you anymore, within reason. No one should be stuck in an unhealthy relationship, but there isn't much that can be done about these things. I suppose if I really wanted to, I could use my intuition for absolutely every aspect of my life so that I could completely avoid any inconvenience, but that wouldn't be a life to live at all.
